A Daughter, A Mom as Friends
There is a crying out in quiet Tamra
A sad tearfulness of her blue eyes
As if she longed to be
And had since known her short life--it raw
Her heart soars to new heights
And though deep down there is a sorrow
You want it to be a better tomorrow
To see her eyes twinkle bright
Try to be happy, and trying, has its smile
Hers is not forced, but of loneliness
You won’t be sadden as she goes the mile
But sadden by her tears, nonetheless
As she lets her dance and song in heart
Leave a past mark on her way to a new life stance
She’ll sing with life on church choir night
And show her heart star of bright
So don’t let tears give in
As she could be near
To always have that friend
A mom--at home she has been here
